2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Passenger & Cargo Space

Quadra-Trac I® 4x4

Working in tandem with the 2024 Grand Cherokee’s standard brake lock differential and 4-wheel brake traction control system, the Quadra-Trac I® 4x4 system uses an active transfer case to deliver optimal traction in a variety of road conditions. Automatically detecting wheel slippage, this system can send as much as 100% of the vehicle’s available torque to the front or rear axle. 

Standard on: Laredo, Altitude and Limited.

Quadra-Trac II® 4x4

A more off-road oriented four-wheel drive system, Jeep’s Quadra-Trac II® 4x4 system features an active 2-speed low transfer case that uses sensors to detect wheel slippage, as well as an active 4-low torque control system 2.72:1 gear ratio. Similar to its Quadra-Trac I® counterpart, this system can send up to 100% of the vehicle’s available torque to the axle that requires the most traction.

Standard on: 4xe and Overland®

Quadra-Drive II® 4x4

Reserved for upper-trim 2024 Grand Cherokee models, the Quadra-Drive II® 4x4 system is the most advanced 4WD system available. Featuring an electronic rear limited-slip differential, a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio, as well as Jeep’s Selec-Terrain® Traction Control Management system, the Quadra-Drive II® 4x4 system delivers Jeep’s legendary capability in both on- and off-road conditions.
