When combined with its gasoline powertrain, the vehicle boasts a total driving range of 761 km! Plug-in to a 220V fast charger and recharge the Grand Cherokee 4xe’s battery pack in around 2 hours, while plugging in to a standard 110V household outlet will take about 12 hours to fully charge. When the battery is depleted, the combustion engine takes over to continue driving the vehicle. During your day‑to‑day driving, the combustion engine and Regenerative Braking also help to charge the battery.
Advanced Plug-in Hybrid
Jeep engineers combined a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with two electric motors and a 400-volt, 17-kWh lithium-ion battery pack to create the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe’s advanced plug-in hybrid powertrain. Generating a combined 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, the Grand Cheroke 4xe boasts an impressive combined fuel economy rating of 4.2Lₑ/100km!
